Efecto de un modelo contemporáneo de periodización de la fuerza en la agilidad y fuerza explosiva de miembros inferiores en deportistas adolescentes de Ultímate Frisbee de Tuluá
The Ultimate Frisbee is a new sport in Colombia, which began officially practiced in 2001, with the focus primarily on social aspect, leading through the rules in this sport and healthy living the values of respect and tolerance. In Colombia, most studies are focused on the technical, tactical and social components; the latter, used to promote healthy living. In analyzing the regulations and this game mode features are very similar motor actions appreciate rugby and basketball , predominantly specific jumping and throwing skills , Intermittent runs at high speed acyclic character , with constant changes of acceleration and deceleration, requiring agility, speed and explosive power for greater efficiency. Although conditional demands, little research has proposed periodization models throughout a training cycle emphasizing the capabilities mentioned above, moreover, the driving force capacity with its sub expressions sequentially. Hence, this study has raised the following question: What is the effect of a periodized strength training at levels lower limb explosive strength and agility adolescent athletes practitioners Ultimate Frisbee, Technical Educational Institution of West Valley Tulua Cauca ? . This quasi-experimental research pretest - posttest design and control group of explanatory scope and quantitative approach was conducted with 20 adolescent athletes Technical Educational Institution of Western City Tulua (Valle del Cauca Colombia) , divided into two groups , experimental, proposal submitted to the contemporary training periodization model of force for 16 microcycles three weekly sessions , based on the sequential execution of demonstrations of force according to the residual effect of these come in a macro structure training , and group control, which continued their conventional training model , with the overall 11 objective to determine the effect of periodization model of contemporary force levels lower limb explosive strength and agility of athletes Ultimate Tulua. The specific objectives in this study the initial and final lower limb explosive strength levels using test Abalakov are valued; to evaluate the Illinois agility test, in addition, the results of pretest and posttest were compared in both control group and experimental group was used and finally compared and analyzed the results obtained by the experimental group with respect to the results the control group. The results show a level of experimental group improved jumping ability in the test done on the platform Abalakov contact, obtaining a record of 45.4 ± 6.8 cm, 19.2% increase compared to the test initial while in the Illinois agility test, improved logging, performing 16.23 ± 0.287, decreasing the time by 11.65% compared to baseline, while the control group remained the same record. The most important finding in this study, the effectiveness of contemporary periodization model of strength levels reflected explosive strength of lower limbs in most jumping ability and agility of athletes Ultimate subjected to the investigation Shows.
