The enzymatic debridement is an efficient procedure in patients with burns thatcompromise healthy tissues, acting not only as an early decisive but also as a conservative.In this way, choosing this method in patients with burns under a 15% reduces the needfor future graft, bleeding, long hospitals stay, blood products, complications, septics andrepeat escharotomy surgeries.During this system literature review it will set forth the best management option for thepatient that suffers from burns, upholding the patients benefits, and with less additionalcomplications.
