The constant increase of the world population and the demand of natural resources suchas water, makes an optimal management of biosolids that come from wastewater treatment plants,is a practice of vital importance and responsibility of the engineer to avoid its impact on the environment, due to the physical, chemical and biological composition, because a bad dispositionof these can affect the flora, the water resource and the fauna and the population in general.These activities of reuse of biosolids, such as the manufacture of construction materials, thegeneration of biogas and vermicomposting, apart from being friendly to the environment, theygenerate on the other land an improvement in physical and chemical characteristics of the material,turning the reuse of biosolids into a viable practice for environmental impact and the subsequentstudy of new techniques of reuse.For a better understanding of the subject is necessary to know how the biosolids are generated, inthe wastewater treatment plants, his composition and the reuse that can be given according to thecurrent environmental regulations
