In the New Public Management (NGP) there are two points of great relevance, which are: the economic prop and the organizational prop. With respect to these points, it can be seen that the new public management attempts to provoke an influence on two specific dimensions of government activity; On the one hand, in the redefinition of the functions that correspond to the State and, on the other, in the positions with which it is intended to solve the old problem of making the task of the State more efficient and effective (Ramirez and Ramirez, 2010). The two points mentioned above have central pillars. In the economic point of view, it refers specifically to economic liberalism and the current of rational choice from which the determinations based on the size of the government apparatus, as well as the behavior of individuals are sustained. Regarding the organization, its main support related to proposals such as management autonomy, organizational culture and many others is the theory of the organization.
