A Bibliometric review of the (trabajos de grado) in psychology was conducted in the Universidad Catolica de Oriente aiming to describe the research production status of the career (or program) in the period from 2013 to 2019. Analysis units were approached (with the following variables): each of these aspects were assessed in the 42 reviewed papers. Results showed that qualitative studies prevailed with 59,5% of the total, whereas quantity studies had 33,3%, the mix studies were 4,8 and 2,4% studies that did not register their method. Moreover it could be observed that a high percentage of these papers had a Humanist theoretical approach with 47,6 % of the total, followed by the Dynamic approach with 33,3%, Cognitive approach had a 14,3% and lastly the Systemic approach with 4,8%. Nevertheless, there is a high percentage of the investigations that could not reach the rigor criteria required, only about 15% accomplish this to fullness. In conclusion, even though the rigor level was not the best in the initial stages of the program, it has been increasing throughout time, especially in the last 3 years. Furthermore, contributions to the improvement of the research educational formation as well as the scientific knowledge growth in the university can be found in this work
