Techniques in vitro are useful in order to generate basic material with high genetic quality andadequate sanitary standards. The present study aimed at the in vitro production of vine rootstocks to evaluate morphological parameters during micropropagation. Axillar buds of ‘Paulsen 1103’, ‘VR043-43’ and ‘Gravesac’ rootstocks were inoculated on DSD1 culture medium. The rate of responsive cultures was 65% and in in vitrocondition the leaf area and the dry weight were different among the genotypes, being the rootstock ‘Paulsen 1103’ the best one in terms of number of leaves, length of roots, leaf area and biomass yield. ‘Gravesac’ presented the best results for stem length and root number. The rate of survival in the acclimatization was 95%. The evaluatedrootstocks showed adequate morphologic features for micropropagation and acclimatization.
