In this article, the most important results of the research carried out in the Ette Ennaka community, based in the Colombian Caribbean, will be exhibited, which focused on the investigation of the mathematical thought of the mentioned aboriginal people from the grammatical categories of His tongue. This was done in order to capture their own mathematical practices in their ethno-educational model and thus preserve this intangible heritage for future generations. As main results, it was found that the community has aspects in numbering that mix quantification and qualification, as well as having a numerical base based on base five and auxiliary base two, with the concepts of completeness and incompleteness denoted in the counting forms. Likewise, it was possible to show that mathematical thinking is transversal in all activities, especially denoted in the language.
