La cultura organizacional, las prácticas de comunicación y la razón de ser del servidor público como valores institucionales del departamento administrativo de la función pública, DAFP
The general objective of this study was to carry out an investigation about the organizational culture of a public entity (DAFP), making an approximation to certain characteristics of the institution as they are; the values of the organization, the subjectivity of the public servant, the communication practices and certain aspects of the culture of the entity. The information was collected through an ethnographic work previously carried out in the institution thanks to the participation in it, where some field diaries were conducted and also semi-structured interviews with five public servants of the Public Employment Directorate of the DAFP, which had different positions and different working conditions. It was found that public servants trust the institution to which they belong but do not trust their co-workers, nor the work they do in the entity. In the analysis you can find the results of the research divided by the selected categories. The discussion focuses on the analysis of the data obtained in relation to what was raised in the theoretical framework, generating a critical reading about the organizational culture of the public entity in question.
