The present report allows to demonstrate the process that was carried out in the municipal mayor of San Gil. The main objective of the internship carried out in the secretary of economic development is to guide farmers in the rural area of the municipality of San Gil, Santander for adaptation to climate change through the development of educational strategies and processes. The methodology used consisted of identifying the activities of the activities and strategies to be developed for the fulfillment of the proposed work plan, giving priority to the activities to the activities that would allow them to be developed in a timely manner during the internship. In the same way, each of the established activities was carried out effectively, allowing the general objective of the internship at this institution to be achieved. The execution of these activities had a positive impact on the rural population, obtaining as a result the achievement of 100% compliance with the work plan, achieving access for farmers, children and young people to technical information corresponding to the climatic condition and generation. of spaces for communication with the rural community and strengthening of knowledge regarding adaptation strategies to climate change
