The book –cartographies for a new didactics of artistic education– reviews the lack of attention to emerging pedagogical experiences, contrasted with profound social, cultural and technological changes at the beginning of the present century, as well as the need from this reality to appropriate the artistic education of today, from a conciliatory tone assuming integrative didactic perspectives. Therefore, the practices of the arts in school are approached in light of the changes observed in various epistemological perspectives, as an investigative opportunity in artistic and cultural education, with which it is sought to integrate intercultural, experimental and visual aspects into the curriculum. according to the thought processes required by the realities of this century and its educational community.
