The osteosarcoma is the most common cancerous bone tumor primary at infancy andadolescence. It is a malignant tumor formed by mesenchymal cells bone producersthat asymptomatic in its beginning, even clinically and medical imaging invisible.Osteosarcomas can be classified based on its physical location, cell prevalence,(osteoblastic, chondroblastic, fibroblastic), its atypia and mitotic activity. Most of theosteosarcomas are in the large bones medullary space, but also in the periosteum,brain cortex, soft tissues and preexisting bone injuries. During this systemic literaryreview, we will update this pathology concept and approach, that even though iscontrollable and that if this is not done, it could be lethal.
