SummaryThis article presents a curricular analysis of the physical education study plan of the educational institution Domingo Savio de San Antonio-Tolima; It is a qualitative study with a descriptive scope, which used the documentary review as an instrument for the collection of information; The analysis included three fundamental phases: the first, called diagnosis, in which a review was carried out of what was reflected in the institutional educational project (PEI) and what was issued by the Ministry of National Education in the curricular guidelines; the second was the planning phase of the elements to be taken into account for the study, including the structural components, the institutional and cultural context; The third phase was called the structuring of the analysis, which concludes with essential aspects that the curricular program in the area of physical education, recreation and sports should have.
