All topics are directly related to general aspects of the strategy of Institutions Friendly to Women and Children with a Comprehensive Approach (IAMI-I), the quality of the need to create a means to modify risk factors in mothers, newborns and infants , provide the necessary and adequate health care for these cases. The strategy aims to motivate health institutions to improve their health care practices, following the principles of universality, equality and non-discrimination, participation and inclusion, social responsibility and accountability; likewise, it is expected that families participate actively in each of the processes. The OVA have an educational purpose and is made up of three internal components: content, learning activities and contextualization elements, these must have a structure that facilitates their storage, identification and recovery (Ministry of National Education, 2012). Therefore, this module is organized by units; each of them, in turn, is subdivided into themes that are organized sequentially in order to allow participants to have various resources for thematic appropriation. Each of the topics has a sequence that facilitates the analysis, understanding and participation of those involved. In the development of each of the topics, activities, document reading, video viewing, among others, are proposed in order for families to understand aspects related to the gestation stage, reflect on this process and propose actions that are aimed at the well-being of the baby and the mother.
