Work stress is established from the degree of conformity of the worker in relation to their working conditions and work environment along with other psychosocial factors. In this sense, the objective that this research proposes is to examine the feeling of burnout syndrome and occupational stress due to the different measures implemented during social isolation in teachers of the Grancolombiano Polytechnic, who carry out their activities in the modality of work at home due to quarantine due to SARS-COV-2 Covid 19 in the second semester of 2020. The methodology that was carried out was of a mixed, non-experimental approach and will have a descriptive scope, with a cross-section, the population is the teachers of the Universidad Politecnico Grancolombiano using the Brief Burnout Questionnaire (CBB) instruments and the validated instrument called: Perceived Stress Scale (PSS). Likewise, a semi-structured interview was applied, giving informed consent to each study participant. It was found that the teachers who presented the highest score in CBB (score higher than 3) are the people who are moderately affected, in the study carried out, a score of 4 was found in 2% of the teachers surveyed. The highest correspond to 4 of the 186 teachers who answered the perceived stress scale (PSS 14). As a general conclusion, it was observed that most teachers perceive that they have higher levels of stress in the face of burnout, which means that there are factors that mitigate some of the aspects that a pathology can generate and that affect the health of teachers, such as intrinsic satisfaction with the task and resorting to adaptive coping strategies. Finally, organizational management favors their well-being.
