The social innovation, has been constituted as a subject of big importance that leads to the solution of different social problems in the world; and despite the approach given, depending on the authors, the approach is the same. In this research, Social Projection is also approached as one of the ways in which universities in Colombia generate interaction with the external sector, through Social Development Projects. Taking as reference the aforesaid, this research is developed in order to answer the question Which is the enforcement of social innovation in the Social Projection projects of the Universidad Catolica de Manizales?, about this a quantitative, descriptive and correlational research is proposed. In this document is presented the approach, the development and the results obtained in the investigation.
