Spanish Abstract: Investigacion realizada a un grupo de empresas de la Alianza del Pacifico y los reportes de sostenibilidad presentados en el 2016. Se realizo una revision de literatura empirica sobre las variables: inversion ambiental y ventas con el fin de comprender su comportamiento. Asi, la hipotesis plantea una relacion positiva entre las variables de interes para las empresas de la Alianza Pacifico. Finalmente, una vez aplicada la correlacion de Pearson sobre una muestra de 51 empresas, se concluyo que existe una relacion positiva de las variables y que para las empresas de la Alianza del Pacifico, un mayor gasto por inversion ambiental representa un mayor crecimiento en sus ventas. English Abstract: Research conducted in a group of companies of the Pacific Alliance and sustainability reports in 2016; A literature review was carried out on the variables: environmental investment and sales in order to understand their behavior. Thus, the hypothesis of a positive relationship between the variables of interest for the companies of Pacific Alliance. Once the Pearson correlation was applied to a sample of 51 companies, it was concluded that there is a positive relationship between the variables and that for the companies of the Pacific Alliance, greater spending on environmental investment represents a greater growth in their sales.
