Introduction: It was intended to know the quality of life of patients receiving palliative care, regarding the care received during their stay in the emergency services. Objective: To recognize the findings reported in research on the variables that intervene in the quality of life of patients in palliative care during their care in the emergency services Design: Descriptive and retrospective research, corresponding to an integrative review of the scientific literature. Population: The analysis sample consisted of 27 indexed publications, taken from 6 databases, selected nationally and internationally. Results: The results obtained were guided according to the specific objectives established where the information on the characterization of the results obtained is located, the elements that intervene in the quality of life of the patients and the determination of the knowledge of the personnel about the palliative care Conclusion: The main conclusion was reached that palliative care is a practically new area, although its training is still in its infancy, this being the case that there is a lot of misinformation on the part of the personnel that provides palliative care.
