The wood transformation process encompasses a series of processes that involve different machinery with which it is possible to have a final product that is used for different purposes within homes and offices. For these processes to be carried out the existence of companies dedicated to this economic activity is necessary, in many Sometimes, these are micro-enterprises in which a minimum number of people work, in many occasions without taking into account the minimum standards of occupational safety. This paper presents the analysis carried out in a microenterprise in Medellin dedicated to the transformation of wood, for this, the identification of risks and valuation were carried out of the dangers to which workers are exposed on a daily basis during the development of their work activities, there it was found that there are few existing controls to the risks present at the activity, therefore a series of activities were carried out that allowed introduce workers to the personal protection elements that they must use during their tasks and the proper way to do it.
