In the professionalism of the university teacher, knowledge and skills are integrated to have an efficient performance in their pedagogical activity in their teaching-learning process. This research is of an educational nature based on an integrated perspective that uses quantitative and qualitative methods for its respective analysis and study of the educational phenomenon in all its dimensions. The systematization that carry out of the scientific theories presented and the methodological ones allow this systematization and, in conclusion, it is proposed to strengthen the professionalism of teachers through coaching.
