Transformaciones generadas por el modelo de ocupación planteado por los planes de ordenamiento territorial de segunda generación en las estructuras territoriales: estudio de caso POT Armenia 2009
Colombia has made progress in the last fifteen years in the implementation of a whole series of policies, laws and regulations on land planning. Its materialization, through the implementation of planning, management and financing instruments is a process that is still under development and requires a thorough evaluation of the impact that has been generated directly on the territory and the population, even more so at the time when Municipalities advance the formulation of the second generation of their Land Use Plans. This degree work aims to address the case study of the city of Armenia that adopted in 2009 the first second-generation POT in the country, which is already advancing in the execution of its short-term validity with the objective of provide a description of the transformations that have been generated in the territorial structure. It is expected that the results of this research allow to raise arguments of the conjunctural, operational and conceptual order that lead to propose a methodological design to evaluate the impact that the Land Use Plans as a public policy have had on the territorial structure of the municipalities.
