En esta investigacion, se planteo contribuir con el rescate de las tradiciones culturales del municipio de Certegui-Choco, estableciendo un vinculo entre el lenguaje y las practicas socioculturales. Para ello se evaluo el uso de cuentos de la tradicion chocoana con el fin de que los estudiantes infirieran de los textos literarios los elementos implicitos relacionados con su tradicion, entorno y cultura. El enfoque asumido fue el mixto, bajo la metodologia de investigacion accion participativa. Como tecnicas se aplicaron las pruebas de comprension de lectura, en version pretest y postest, y el taller literario. Los resultados permitieron identificar que los niveles de lectura de los estudiantes pasaron del literal e inferencial al critico e intertextual. Por lo que se espera que esta investigacion sea pensada en la comunidad como una forma de generar redes de conocimiento, a favor de la inferencia y del reencuentro con nuestra historia real y fantastica. LANGUAGE AND SOCIAL PRACTICES. TALES OF THE CHOCOAN TRADITION FOR INFERENTIAL LEVEL READING ABSTRACT In this research, it was proposed to contribute to the rescue of the cultural traditions of the municipality of Certegui-Choco, establishing a link between language and sociocultural practices. To this end, the use of stories from the Chocoana tradition was evaluated in order for students to infer from the literary texts the implicit elements related to their tradition, environment and culture. The approach taken was the mixed one, under the participatory action research methodology. As techniques, the reading comprehension tests were applied, in pretest and posttest versions, and the literary workshop. The results allowed identifying that the reading levels of the students went from literal and inferential to critical and intertextual. Therefore, this research is expected to be thought of in the community as a way to generate knowledge networks, in favor of inference and contact with our real and fantastic history.
