espanolEn el presente articulo se presentan los resultados de una investigacion cuyo fin era potenciar habitos de lectura literaria a traves de talleres significativos, con estudiantes de educacion media del sector publico en Colombia. El estudio partio desde el paradigma sociocritico (Alvarado & Garcia, 2008), con un enfoque de investigacion cualitativo y bajo el metodo de la investigacion- accion (Elliot, 1996). Se utilizo la tecnica de observacion participante junto a entrevistas semiestructuradas de tipo de contacto alto, tanto con estudiantes como con profesores. A su vez, se usaron dos tipos de encuestas con los participantes: la primera de tipo personal y la segunda de tipo electronico. Los resultados indican una valoracion de las practicas de lectura literaria positiva bajo el marco de los talleres literarios significativos. En ese sentido, el trabajo desarrollado, ademas de potenciar el gusto por la lectura a traves del goce estetico, ofrece una mirada distinta a las practicas de lectura que promueve la escuela. EnglishThis article presents the results of an investigation whose purpose was to promote literary reading habits through significant workshops with middle school students from the public sector in Colombia. The study started from the sociocritical paradigm (Alvarado & Garcia, 2008), with a qualitative research approach and following the action research method (Elliot, 1996). The participant observation technique was used along with semi-structured high contact type interviews with both students and teachers. Likewise, two types of surveys were applied to the participants: the first was personal survey and the second was electronic survey. The results indicate a positive assessment of literary reading practices within the framework of significant literary workshops. In this sense, the present study, in addition to fostering the enjoyment of reading through aesthetic enjoyment, offers a different perspective to the reading practices promoted by traditional schooling.
