Abstract:

A work is presented that focused on establishing the main contributions of the literature regarding the family and citizenship, as a means of establishing the role of the family within this training and proposing strategies and recommendations that can provide a good education in citizenship, establishing participation and democracy within social entities in order to create a fair and equitable citizenship. In this sense, this document proposes to analyze the academic production in the period 2016-2020 on the role reported in the academic literature regarding the role of the family in civic education, the above through three axes of action as follows: i. Track production in databases regarding the role of the family in citizen training in databases; ii. Review the production regarding the role of the family in citizen training in databases and iii. Describe production regarding the role of the family in civic education
