The Latin American economic context has tried for centuries to stay current in meeting its needs, hand and hand with the imperious global economy, Latin America is shaping up to follow the same steps as its predecessor and seeks to try to erase, or at least lessen, the gap and distance that distances it from the first world, in this sense, there are several aspects that must be considered to minimize the distance that establishes and determines the contextual differences for the search and permanence that responds to avant-garde ideologies that renew and prosper human being, the company and society. The use of information and communication technologies have allowed new structures to be defined in the way of thinking, living and working, therefore, staying current with the new demands of globalization is an urgent but necessary task to achieve that the participation of the human being in different social and labor scales is regulated in accordance with the demands of the world, among them, the way to implement new work strategies that favor the use of time, that shorten distances and allow the development of the being from the contribution of its intellectual capital in the growth of the company. Colombia itself has begun to take giant steps in the implementation of telework as a flexible way of optimizing results at the organizational level, and despite the various obstacles and difficulties that may arise, the vision of promoting this concept that encompasses a wide range of activities is renewed in the development and progress of the company.
