The paper that follows, aims to reflection the approach to basic learning devices in educational processes with childhood in order to seek articulation and meaning within the framework of early childhood education. In this order, its relevance in strengthening capacities for the development of mathematical logical thinking in children is highlighted; This is why an explicit bet is made to integrate the biological component with the social component. This exercise is carried out from the search in bibliographic sources and databases that allow locating the terms, motivation, senso-perception, memory, attention and habituation, which are part of the basic learning devices from the Piagetian and Vygotskian postulates. The conclusions suggest how from the task of teaching, the teacher can strengthen these devices from strategies and activities that benefit the development of logical mathematical thinking that involves solving problems in daily life in children in this period of development.
