En el presente trabajo se analizan las cosmovisiones de la comunidad Zenu como manifestaciones del pensamiento autoctono en la construccion de conocimiento. El pueblo Zenu cuenta con numerosos asentamientos, parcelidades y propietarios individuales en Cordoba, Sucre, Antioquia y Choco. En el cual se distribuye la poblacion Zenu, en donde los sabedores resaltan las diferentes manifestaciones que intentan preservar su identidad. Este fenomeno de conservacion se evidencia como una accion reciente debido que, por datos de la organizacion nacional indigena, esta poblacion antes de la colonizacion ya estaba en proceso de perdida de su lengua nativa lo cual es un factor que distingue la aculturacion temprana de dicha etnia. A partir de un diseno de investigacion accion, se pretende comprender las configuraciones de identidad Zenu a traves de la memoria cultural, como un proceso de trascendencia y preservacion del indianismo, como tambien comprender las razones de su aculturacion temprana, preservacion y las luchas actuales en el mantener los simbolismos de sus antepasados.
