When i looked more closely into the little known field of leafless orchids, strange plants devoid of foliage which are found in the tropics, some two hundred different species of which are said to exist, i met up with so many extremes, that i spontaneously recalled the title of that great action film, ¨The Good, the Bad and the Ugly¨, because what i found fit this incongrous combination of attributes perfectly!
