International organizations such as the GAFI have worked in recent decades to protect companies from risks associated with asset laundering and terrorist financing. In Colombia, the UIAF and Super intendencies have followed international protocols for management systems against this type of risk that companies face. The objective of this study is to determine the characteristic elements of a SARLAFT that meets the characteristics of SEBOARD, a participating company and leader in the cereal sector in Colombia. The research question was answered through the recommendations, international parameters, and local regulation that determine the necessary elements in the design of the system for companies under surveillance and belonging to the real sector within the national territory. The research was based on a theoretical framework that involves the theory of broken windows and control, to develop through an exploratory and descriptive qualitative methodology that allows identifying the elements that must consider the appropriate SARLAFT for the research. The result proposes five essential elements taken from the Australian risk management model and the Supersolidaria has developed that for Colombian companies. The elements identified are in accordance with Colombian law; however, the investigation proposes the work of the administration to complete the design of the system through policies and procedures that guarantee its compliance and execution.
