La presente investigacion tuvo el proposito de analizar los factores socioafectivos que inciden en la produccion escrita de los estudiantes del grado septimo de dos instituciones educativas del distrito de Riohacha, Colombia. Su metodologia fue de campo, enfocada en los alumnos de la Institucion Educativa Almirante Padilla y la Institucion Educativa Isabel Maria Cuestas Gonzalez. El instrumento de recoleccion de datos fue un focus group aplicado a los docentes, ademas de la revision de la produccion escrita de los estudiantes. Entre los resultados se obtuvo que en las instituciones objeto de estudio se sigue aplicando la ensenanza directa y la realizacion de actividades para constatar el nivel de conocimientos y habilidades adquiridas por el educando. Se concluye que el fortalecimiento de los factores socioafectivos, permite a los estudiantes identificarse con lo que escriben, de forma que asuman la escritura como un medio de expresion, mas que como una actividad escolar. SOCIO-AFFECTIVE FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE THE WRITTEN PRODUCTION OF SEVENTH GRADE STUDENTS FROM TWO EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN RIOHACHA ABSTRACT The present research had the purpose of analyzing the socio-affective factors that affect the written production of seventh grade students from two educational institutions in the district of Riohacha, Colombia. Its methodology was field focused on the students of the Almirante Padilla Educational Institution and the Isabel Maria Cuestas Gonzalez Educational Institution, the data collection instrument was a focus group applied to the teachers, in addition to the review of the students' written production. Among the results, it was obtained that in the institutions under study direct teaching and activities are still applied to verify the level of knowledge and skills acquired by the student.It is concluded that the strengthening of socio-affective factors allows students to identify with what they write, so that they assume writing as a means of expression, rather than as a school activity.
