Spanish Abstract: Este trabajo resalta la importancia de las exportaciones del sector confecciones dentro del crecimiento de este y la relevancia de las relaciones comerciales entre Colombia y la Union Europea frente a su aporte al desarrollo economico, esto a traves del Sistema de Preferencias Generalizadas (SPG), el cual incluye temas sociales, laborales, de medio ambiente y buena gobernanza economica, entre otros (Mincit, 2012). Por tanto, los programas de Responsabilidad Social Empresarial (RSE) de las empresas del sector se han convertido en una de las herramientas determinantes a la hora de aprovechar las oportunidades comerciales dentro del acuerdo, lo que genera que algunas empresas tomen fuerza en este mercado. English Abstract: This project highlights the importance of the clothing sector’s exports, its growing and the relevance of the commercial relationship between Colombia and the European Union for its contribution to economic development, by using the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) wich includes, social, labor, environment, governance and economic topics among many others (Mincomercio, industria y turismo, 2012). Therefore the sector’s companies’ programs of Corporative Social Responsibility (CSR) have become one of the most important tools to take advantage of the commercial opportunities within the agreement, it have brought the strengthening of some companies in the market.
