This work was raised from the need to improve and provide a vital service such as drinking water for the municipal seat of La Mesa, Cundinamarca; since there is a clear demand for water in this city and the amount of water currently reaching the municipality does not provide full coverage to the municipal seat. Through data collection in the area in institutions such as IDEAM, DANE, AGUAS DEL TEQUENDAMA and the Municipal Mayor's Office, we proceed to analyze demographic and climatological characteristics, among others, to observe a better supply area, taking into account the specifications both of Law 330 of 2017. As well as the technical regulation of the drinking water and basic sanitation sector (RAS 2010, to achieve an improvement in the quality of life of the citizens of La Mesa, Cundinamarca.
