Spanish Abstract: En este articulo se presenta un vistazo a las posibilidades de la aplicacion de la tecnologia informatica en el aprendizaje de los idiomas. El auge del uso del computador en una vasta gama de actividades del ser humano evidencia la necesidad de que tanto estudiantes como profesores inicien el conocimiento (familiarizacion) al uso del computador en tareas y actividades de aprendizaje de idiomas extranjeros como el ingles. La capacitacion de docente en esta area seria de un decisiva implicacion en la innovacion y la creatividad para con el campo de la metodologia de la ensenanza y aprendizaje del ingles. English Abstract: In this article we present a look at the possibilities of the application of computer technologies in the learning of languages. The rise of the use of the computer in a wide range of activities of the human being evidences the need for both students and teachers to initiate knowledge (familiarization) to the use of the computer in tasks and learning activities of foreign languages such as English. Teacher training in this area would be of decisive involvement in innovation and creativity in the field of English teaching and learning methodology.
