espanolIntroduccion: los procesos de iniciacion deportiva son fundamentales para que los ninos aprendan las bases necesarias para practicar deporte. Objetivo: analizar los metodos de ensenanza desde los discursos y practicas de los entrenadores en dos escuelas de futbol de Santiago de Cali, Colombia. Metodologia: el estudio se baso en la teoria fundamentada, usando como tecnicas la observacion y la entrevista semiestructurada para identificar, describir e interpretar los metodos de ensenanza. Resultados: en las diferentes categorias de formacion en el futbol se aplican diversos metodos de ensenanza, siendo el metodo analitico el mas aceptado; la planificacion de ejercicios similares a la competencia y centrados en la tactica sufren alteraciones, por lo que se considera como una hibridacion en la ensenanza. Conclusion: la utilizacion de los metodos implico adoptar estilos de ensenanza que, aunque dan importancia a la interaccion tradicional, generan estilos mixtos mediados por el interes competitivo de los entrenadores. Este es un factor comun entre ellos, lo que brinda una postura frente al proceso de formacion en el futbol que involucra ninos de 5 a 12 anos. English Introduction: sports initiation processes are essential for children to learn the necessary bases to practice sports. Objective: to analyze the teaching methods from the speeches and practices of the coaches in two soccer schools in Santiago de Cali, Colombia. Methodology: the study was based on Grounded Theory, using observation and semi-structured interviews as techniques to identify, describe and interpret teaching methods. Results: in the different categories of training in soccer, various teaching methods are applied, the analytical method being the most accepted; the planning of exercises similar to competition and focused on tactics are altered, which is why it is considered as a hybridization in teaching. Conclusion: the use of the methods implied adopting teaching styles that, although they give importance to traditional interaction, generate mixed styles mediated by the competitive interest of the coaches. This is a common factor between them, which provides a position against the training process in football that involves children from 5 to 12 years old.
