This dissertation was formulated under the premise of exploring new timbre by developing a synthesizer, which offers making the sound-creating experience a new artistic design path. Since the invention of the synthesizer, it has been implemented in various musical genres, sound design for audiovisual projects and, in general, in any project that requires the generation of electronic sounds. The rise of the digital world in the music industry has increased the achievable sound possibilities, especially under diverse methods. That is why the supply of an electronic musical instrument that can be used in both, software and hardware, for sound experimentation purposes is a versatile proposal. In this project we develop the considerations and actions taken for the creation of SynthoPhonics: A new digital musical synthesizer proposal, with different modules for the experimentation and creation of sounds. The project consists of a review of important concepts of sound synthesis, a brief log on the development of software and hardware modules, and finally, its implementation in music production. It includes designs of the first prototype, as well as production costs and other considerations to be used in the future.
