The precise estimation of the aquifer recharge is of vital importance in water resource studies and in pollution agent transportation studies. The recharge can occur naturally due to precipitation, through rivers or lakes, by irrigation, by sewage or water supply networks, or from reservoirs. Diverse techniques are used to consider aquifer recharge, their selection depends on parameters like of the method itself, the time intervals for calculations and the availability of logistic and economic resources . The ideal situation would be to obtain different values by diverse techniques, so a detailed comparison can be done among them. A review of the different methods will be presented in this paper to consider the recharge, with their advantages and disadvantages.
