espanolEn este articulo se analiza una fotografia de un fogon colombiano de la decada de 1950, por medio de una exploracion teorica y metodologica que revisa y adapta la teoria Worter und Sachen, con el fin de establecer conexiones entre la dimension linguistica y la dimension etnografica (antropologica) del Atlas Linguistico-Etnografico de Colombia (ALEC). Se plantean nuevos acercamientos al estudio de las imagenes, denominadas “fotografias etnograficas”. Para lograr ese objetivo, dividimos el documento en tres partes: revision del papel de la fotografia en la teoria Worter und Sachen, funcion de la fotografia etnografica en la historia de la antropologia y analisis de la fotografia. EnglishThe purpose of this article is to analyze a picture of a Colombian stove of the 1950’s, through a theoretical and methodological exploration which reviews the Worter und Sachen theory, searching connections between the linguistic and ethnographic (anthropological) dimensions of the Atlas Linguistico-Etnografico de Colombia (ALEC). The main objective of the research is to present new approaches in the analysis of the so-called “ethnographic pictures”. In order to reach this goal, the document is divided into three parts: 1) the role played by pictures in Worter und Sachen’s school; 2) the way anthropological history has worked with so called ethnographic pictures; 3) and, finally, the analysis of the picture.
