In this direction, corporate law has tried to contribute to the realization of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through the Benefit Corporations (B Corporations). This legal category recognizes companies that contribute to collective purposes beyond the individual interests of their associates and is an expression of a social, environmental and ethical approach to corporate law that contributes to the configuration of a sustainable economic modelfor improvement of the crisis generated by the pandemic.
