They applied the generic instrument for measuring HRQL Kidscreen 52 Colombian version, with the approval of the Kidscreen Group, owner of the rights of instrument. We applied the multidimensional generic instrument for measuring HRLQL, Kidscreen 52 Colombian version, which contains 10 domains, with questions of variable range. Prior approval was obtained Kidscreen Group, owner of the rigths of the instrument. Results: The initial sample was decreased significantly by poor understanding of the instrument by several participants. 58% of the original cohort discontinued treatment. The results of applying the test before treatment in 33 patients showed that ADHD affects the quality of life of children who suffer. The most affected domain shown is the free time and independence, followed by social rejection. The domain shown is less impact psychological well-being, followed by the domain of family life. In children with ADHD who received treatment was found that these somehow improved their quality of life. The domains show more improvement with treatment is the social interaction, followed by the domain of money. Conclusion: ADHD affects the quality of life of children who suffer. These results allow us to infer that treatment for ADHD by improving the HRQOL of these children, mainly social interaction. In their perception, the domains of psychological well-being and self-rated showed little improvement.
