This research work focused on investigating how the development of argumentation skills influences the proposal of possible solutions to interpersonal conflicts that fifth-grade students present in the school environment, of the Francisco Jose de Caldas Rural Educational Institution in the Siberia Inspectorate, Orito Putumayo municipality. It arose from the difficulty that this group of students presented when facing interpersonal conflicts, they incurred disruptive behaviors that significantly affected interpersonal relationships, school climate and academic performance. This highlighted the lack of skills that would allow students to address the conflict through reasoned and reasonable alternatives. For this reason, the objective of the project was to identify how the development of argumentation skills influences the proposal of possible solutions to interpersonal conflicts presented by students of that degree.
