Urban agroecology is a form of citizen action, a social movement that seeks to resist transgenic seeds and agro-industrial chemicals to reduce environmental damage, ensure food sovereignty of the territories and care for the health of the people involved. In order to achieve action, it needs communication, collective learning and organizational forms. This is a recent phenomenon that has occurred in different countries until reaching Colombia, which seeks to make cities more sustainable spaces. For this reason, and taking into account the different environmental crises facing the world, it is essential to analyze these types of actions that seek solutions from citizen participation. On the other hand, despite the increase in this practice, studies on the subject are limited to fields of knowledge such as anthropology, sociology, ecology and administration, but no rigorous work has been done with a communicative approach. In that sense, the objective of this work is to analyze the way in which the dialogues of knowledge and the communicative processes are developed among urban farmers of Bogota who make efforts to generate changes in the conscience of their communities.
