CARACTERIZACIÓN DEL PERFIL ANTROPOMÉTRICO Y DERMATOGLIFICO DE LA SELECCIÓN TOLIMA FEMENINA, MODALIDAD SALTO CON PÉRTIGA CATEGORIA SUB 16 EN EL PERIODO 2019
The aim of this research was to identify the dermatoglyphic, anthropometric and somatotype profiles of the 2019 U-16 Womens’s Paul Vault Tolima Team. 100% of the team —5 Colombian athletes — participated in this research. A quantitative, descriptive and transversal approach was employed (Hernandez, 2014)). Both the anthropometric and dermatoglyphic profiles were analyzed. For the anthropometric analysis (ISAK, 2001) parameters and the Ross (1982) were used, as well as kineanthropometric software for data collection. To determine the indices and body composition, Quetelet was taken into account. Finally, the dermatoglyphics analyzes were performed through the Dermasoft software. The methodology proposed by Cummins and Midlo (1963) was used. When analyzing the body composition, a prevalence of high muscle mass and low values of fat mass were seen. A long trunk (Macrocormic), long legs (Macrosquelic), long arms (Macrobrachialis), broad shoulders and also, narrow pelvis were observed in all the athletes. Finally, the dermatoglyphic analyzes showed a prevalence of speed, power and coordination.
