As a result of the situation during 2020 due to COVID-19, the economic reactivation according to international organizations must occur through value chains, which means that ports, as connection points, offer services with a high level of competitiveness in its operations that result in benefits for its customers and users and the profitability of the operators' investment. Under this context, the research describes the port logistics management or performance indicators prepared by ECLAC, the World Bank and UNCTAD, and compares the evaluation criteria and the methodology used to determine these through the search for information in sources. high schools. Finally, it is concluded that the lack of standardization of the variables to be considered within each indicator, as well as their measurement method, influences the competitiveness analyzes in the Port of Cartagena.
