This book has the purpose of contributing to the transformation of the economic and environmental performance of SMEs through a systemic management model developed from the experience of two programs with economic and environmental purposes: the first, advanced in Mexico, the Leadership Program Environmental for Competitiveness (PLAC) and the second in Colombia, The Network of Sustainable Companies Networks-CAR. Both programs were developed by professors from the Faculty of Administration, Universidad de los Andes, in alliance with public entities, academic institutions and organizations dedicated to business development. This model fosters the transformation of people and companies through changes in the industrial system, represented by its supply chains and, ultimately, by society, which benefits from the multiplicity of impacts.
