With this academic work, the person of popular Latin American religiosity can perceive the merciful God who is inhabiting it from within, as a free gift, and thus have the possibility to live from the dynamic of love for God and neighbor. This leads the person to feel dignified by God and allows him to grow in authenticity. With this research contribution I intend to help the person of popular religiosity in Latin America, that sometimes in the face of the realities of pain experienced in the course of his life, can fall into the dynamics of fatalism having resignation as the end, not finding horizons to continue his life. From the Book of Life of Saint Teresa, we realize that she also experienced situations of pain, even as a child when her mother dies, later when she enters the religious life she suffers a serious illness, to such an extent that, the people closest to her They thought she was dead. As we see, Teresa has great suffering, however, does not fall into fatalism, but rises from full trust in Jesus Christ, meaning Teresa after becoming aware of the pain she experienced, realizes that even in the suffering was the Good God accompanying her and giving her the strength to continue walking through life.
