The population in Ayapel have been threatened and affected by floods of the San Jorge and Cauca rivers since 2010. This floods have damaged almost 50% of the region´s landscape where more than 26 thousand people have been affected. This project is about a proposal of new homes which will have to be made in fast procedures and will need to be capable of floating, resisting the flood events and with a lot of respect towards the cultural characteristics which are present in this region.
