Evaluación de analgesia postoperatoria con infiltración local de lidocaína y bupivacaína en pared abdominal bajo visión directa en cirugía de trasplante renal
General objective: To evaluate whether, by means of local infiltration of lidocaine and bupivacaine in the abdominal wall under direct vision, an adequate control of immediate postoperative pain is obtained in kidney transplant recipients. Material and methods: This is a descriptive, observational, cross-sectional study in which the immediate postoperative pain assessment was performed in patients who underwent kidney transplantation and received lidocaine and bupivacaine infiltration in the abdominal wall area in the open. Results: Twelve patients were included in the study, of them, 4 patients (33.33%) were operated with the Gipson surgical technique and 8 patients (66.67%) with the Pararectal approach. Regarding anesthesia, general anesthesia was used in all cases, and with regard to postoperative pain, it was mild in 91.67% of the cases that received open abdominal wall infiltration, there were no cases with severe pain. Conclusion: Based on the present study, we suggest local infiltration of the abdominal wall with local anesthetics in the open or direct vision to patients undergoing kidney transplant surgery, this as a means to improve the control of acute postoperative pain in transplant patients.
