Criterios de la educación en torno al desarrollo sostenible para cumplir el objetivo de calidad en la educación en la comunidad educativa (Caso Liceo Psicopedagógico Ebenezer – LPE) Bogotá – Colombia
This research arises from the need to explore in greater detail elements that are immersed within Sustainable Development. If the Brundtland report, presented in 1987, and generated by the World Commission on Environment and Development (CMMAD), which introduced sustainable development as a concept, is taken into account, education was established as a fundamental axis to achieve the objectives set by the commission, creating the element of Education for Sustainable Development, which seeks that students can make informed and responsible decisions in favor of the integrity of the environment and the viability of the economy, seeking social justice for current and future generations, while respecting diversity (UNESCO, 2019). Achieving conceptualize and synthesize the scope of ESD opens the possibility of establishing criteria and general guidelines that are present at the time of wanting to impact certain communities through different projects or actions, which seek to improve the situation of the local population, in the terms that the social dimension of sustainability raises. For this, this work focuses on the application of general ESD criteria at the Ebenezer Psychopedagogical Lyceum - LPE, a private primary school, in the town of Bosa in the city of Bogota, as well as on the construction of a plan of Training the educational community to establish a new program that integrates the vision of ESD.
