Affective-sexual relationships have been transformed. Generations ago, sexual relations were conceived as an inseparable element of love and commitment. In fact, sexuality was experienced exclusively within the couple. As time goes by and the breakdown of various sociocultural mandates, the discourses of the new generations have become more flexible, leading to the fact that forming an affective bond is not a fundamental requirement to have sex. The objective of this research is to identify the transformation that has arisen in the affective-sexual paths of young women residing in Bogota, Colombia. In order to answer, four semi –structured interviews were carried out with women between 18 and 29 years of age, heterosexuals and residents of Bogota. Within the narratives of the participants, various factors that have contributed to the transformation in sexual affective relationships could be identified, such as: the formation of new types of couples (Engagement, Cuentico and One-night stands), the pursuit of gender equality, technology and the use of social networks, and the generational gap that exists between parents and daughters. Finally, it is highlighted that although there has been a great transformation in relations, in Colombia a discourse that is deeply rooted in traditional gender stereotypes continues to prevail.
