La inteligencia emocional fuente del fortalecimiento de la comunicación organizacional y el liderazgo eficaz en las organizaciones multinacionales ubicadas en el complejo empresarial de Costa del Este en Ciudad de Panamá, Panamá
The emotional intelligence applied in organizations has gained relevance at global level within corporate administration for more than 30 years, however its progress, recognition and use as a distinctive skill that strengthens other abilities such as communication and organizational leadership in Latin America has had very little academic and scientific research background. One of the most recent studies has been carried out in Colombia during 2012, where the relationship between emotional intelligence and leadership practices in Colombian organizations was measured, confirming the existence of a positive relationship between emotional intelligence and leadership practices, even that leaders who use emotional intelligence manage to lead their teams work more efficiently. This research, whose methodological basis presents a quantitative study that involves the descriptive, correlational and causal perspective, aims to establish the relevance of emotional intelligence as one of the more necessary skills for strengthen organizational communication and effective leadership. This study has been carried out on five multinational organizations located in Panama and involve a complete theoretical framework from the antecedents of emotional intelligence and its evolution, to the foundation of communication and leadership and its most important models, explaining the theoretical and practical coincidences with emotional intelligence and the great impact on successful business and professional performance. The main conclusion of this work is the understanding of how emotional intelligence is considered a personal skill with social impact within organizations, evidencing the capacity to strengthen effective managerial performance through the reciprocal and effective management of emotions that not only expand the communicative and persuasive potential of the leader significantly influencing the relationships, behaviors and effectiveness of collaborators across organizations until as recognized by 95% of employees as a distinctive skill for the performance of a professional.
