For centuries, the university has been contributing substantially to the development of humanity. It has trained countless men and women of honor, scientists, educators, writers, artists, athletes, politicians, doctors, among other important disciplines. Always thinking about the common good, where values and responsibility must prevail in the face of an increasingly globalized society with gaps such as access to technology, knowledge, sustainable development and critical thinking, just to cite a few examples. It is up to the new generations to perfect the university curriculum in such a way that it promotes a culture of rejection of anti-values and where good actions and customs are based. The research carried out addresses these aspects mentioned above using a qualitative approach, the main objective of which was centered on recognizing the perceptions and practices around the social responsibility of the main actors in the university environment as evidence of a missionary identity.
